INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Article 13(1) and 13(2) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (general data protection regulation – Official Journal EU L 119 - hereinafter: GDPR) Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk hereby advises its hotel guests, as follows:

  1. the administrator of the personal data processed in connection with the conclusion and performance of the hotel services agreement is Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk – registered address: 80-743 Gdańsk, ul. Łąkowa 1-2;
  2.  personal data are collected through the Client’s voluntary completion of the booking form or giving the form-required data in direct contact with the hotel reception service.  Disclosure of personal data is voluntary, though it is prerequisite for the signing of the agreement and the performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);
  3.  the booking form contains clearly marked boxes which have to be completed, and other boxes which may but need not be voluntarily filled in by the Client.  The personal data given in the booking form are processed to book and then perform the service defined in the Agreement;
  4.  the Client personal data are not subject to the Data Administrator’s automated decision-making process, profiling included;
  5.  the Client enjoys the following rights:
  • to have access to his/her data and receive a copy thereof,
  • to rectify (correct) the data,
  • to have the data erased (on the conditions specified in Art. 17 GDPR),
  • to restrict the data processing,
  • to have the data transmitted (on the conditions specified in Art. 20 GDPR),
  • to object to the data processing,
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority referred to in Art. 4(21) GDPR;
  1.  The Data Administrator, in compliance with the regulations of:
  • the commercial law,
  • the Act on Tourist Services of 29 August 1997 (given a new title as of 1 July 2018, namely: Act of Hotel Services and the Services of Tour Leaders and Tourist Guides),
  • the Civil Code Act of 23 April 1964,

shall store the Client data connected with the conclusion and performance of the agreement for the period of 6 years following its expiry, unless other specific regulations, including regulations governing administrative, court, or tax proceedings, require other data storage periods.

The said data storage period shall not apply, if the Client voluntarily gives the Data Administrator his/her consent to the processing of his/her data for marketing purposes.In the latter situation, the Administrator shall store the data until the Client withdraws his/her consent.When the Client withdraws his/her consent to the processing of his/her personal data, the data shall be deleted from our information base, except for the data, if any, which have to be stored under specific regulations;

  1.  the Client’s personal data may be disclosed to subcontractors cooperating with Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk under data processing agreements, e.g. providers of tax and accounting services, legal advisors, IT companies, security agencies.

Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk declares it does not transmit, nor does it intend to transmit the Client personal data to any third state;
